Bloc 24 is a considered response to overcrowded and overlooked gyms

We're a small team who care about training, recovery and building a space people love. Get to know the faces behind Bloc 24.

Jack Turner & Leigh Olsen
Jack has spent the past 13 years in the fitness industry, beginning his career as a personal trainer in 2013. During that time, he's worked across commercial gyms, council owned facilities and premium personal training studios, giving him experience with a wide range of training environments.
Over the last four years, Jack built his online coaching business, State of Motion, helping 500+ men transform their health and fitness every year. While the online space allowed him to reach more people, it also highlighted the importance of real world community and connection.
Leigh grew up in Dunedin, New Zealand, with a natural pull toward the outdoors and adventure sports. That hands on, figure it out mindset followed her into a career in technology, where she's spent the last decade working across software development and systems integration.
Leigh brought that same approach to building Bloc 24 from the ground up. She built the entire tech stack that runs the gym, from the sauna booking system to access control and automations, making sure every part of the experience works the way it should, without the member ever having to think about it. Leigh's background isn't in traditional fitness, but her love of movement, adventure and doing things properly is baked into every decision made behind the scenes at Bloc 24.
Together, Jack and Leigh set out to create the kind of gym they always wished existed, a premium space where like minded people could train, connect and enjoy an exceptional experience without the frustrations that often come with traditional commercial gyms. Their vision is to build Bloc 24 into one of Australia's most respected fitness brands while creating spaces that genuinely improve the way people experience health and fitness.

Shania Dell

If you've ever wanted to fall in love with health and fitness and never look back, Shania is your person.

Evan Hawkless
Evan is a Kiwi who now calls the Sunshine Coast home. With a background in motocross racing, he knows what it takes to train hard, stay consistent, and show up even when you don't feel like it. That mentality drives everything he does as a coach.
He specialises in hybrid training, helping people build strength and fitness that actually carries over into real life and competition. Whether you're training for Hyrox, preparing for a running event, chasing a strength goal, or just want to get fitter and feel better, Evan will build a plan around you and help you get there.
